Signs Your Basement Water Pump Needs Repair
It may not always be obvious when your basement water pump, also known as a sump pump, is broken. Here are some of the telltale signs that indicate your system needs repair: musty smell or mildew in your basement; float switch is stuck; system makes loud noises during operation; or sump pump hasn’t run since it last rained.
